About us
Vision
Our goal is to pass on knowledge, experience and, above all, the joy of discovery. We focus on real hard skills – the kind that cannot be learned from a quick tutorial but require experienced lecturers and honest feedback.

History
The beginnings and the birth of Bee IT
The story of today's Turing Institut began in early 2019. Its founder is Zdeněk Vais, who at the time worked as a technical lead and taught programming to the public in the evenings at another training company.
It gradually became clear that he wanted to teach differently — hands-on, in more depth and with more room for an individual approach to students. And so Bee IT was born, first as a small sole-trader project and later as an independent company.
The first open course was C# programming for beginners.

The first classroom and the Covid period
Shortly after launch, the first classroom opened in the centre of Brno and the very first run of the course filled up. Soon afterwards, however, the Covid pandemic arrived and in-person teaching had to move online.
Despite the difficult period we kept going, and the online format ultimately helped us reach students from across the country.

Founding the company
As the number of courses, students and lecturers grew, operating as a sole trader stopped making sense. In 2021 the company Bee Learning s.r.o. was therefore founded, continuing to operate under the Bee IT brand.
Bigger courses, more lecturers and corporate training
After the company was founded, we began working intensively on improving the quality of all our teaching. Comprehensive retraining programmes, specialised AI courses and our own study materials and practical exercises for students were created.
The team of lecturers gradually grew to almost 20 people. Alongside public courses, we also started training companies and providing technical consulting.
Launch of the podcast and carousels
In 2024 we started sharing our knowledge beyond the classroom in earnest — we launched our own podcast and began publishing educational carousels on social media.
We wanted to make the world of IT and artificial intelligence accessible to people who had not yet attended one of our courses, while staying in touch with our community.

AI, agents and new directions in teaching
With the rapid rise of modern artificial intelligence, we expanded our offering with courses focused on AI agents, automation and retraining developers for the new generation of AI tools.
Technology is evolving faster and faster, and our goal has been to help developers keep pace with how the whole field is changing.

Rebranding to Turing Institut
Bee IT gradually outgrew the scope of ordinary IT courses. We also began preparing certification and accredited programmes, and with that came the need for a new identity.
In 2026 we are therefore rebranding from Bee IT to Turing Institut. The new name refers to Alan Turing, one of the most important figures in the history of computer science and artificial intelligence.
